TREASURE CHEST: Mint Authentic Cartier Sterling Silver Business Card Holder Case w/Packaging

$2,000.00

A true Treasure Chest find. It is rare and special. It is a vintage mint condition Cartier stamped sterling silver business card (or) credit card holder/card case with rich, burgundy red Cartier box, black pouch, and booklet. The lined guilloche-style finish and Cartier logo suggests it is a higher end and more desirable accessory. It is a unisex item for men or women to acquire and/or use. Before the item is shipped I will ensure it is cleaned again very well with any of my finger prints from photos and handling.

Engine-Turned Pattern: The exterior features a classic horizontal ribbed design, often referred to as a fluted or engine-turned guilloche finish.

Blank Cartouche: The smooth rectangular plate in the center is a dedicated cartouche designed for custom monogram engraving. The Cartouche is blank and untouched, so it can be engraved as you wish.

Thumb Piece Catch: It utilizes a traditional spring-loaded clasp mechanism at the front lip for secure closure.

This item was purchased in an antique shop in Los Altos Hills, an affluent incorporated town in Santa Clara County, California, United States. The item was then taken to an official Cartier Store in CA to have authenticated by the Sales Associate or Brand Ambassador. They then verbally confirmed it was authentic and supplied the official and genuine Cartier pouch, booklet and box only because of an excellent business relationship.

Cartier business card cases and leather goods are primarily made in Italy and France. Cartier is a brand name that is the finest in the world. Louis-Francois Cartier founded the brand in Paris in 1847, but it was his three grandsons—Louis, Pierre, and Jacques Cartier—who made Cartier an international luxury empire. Together, they transformed the boutique into "the jeweler of kings" by securing royal warrants and designing iconic, trendsetting pieces. Cartier is generally considered higher-end, more exclusive, and more expensive than Tiffany & Co. King Edward VII referred to Cartier as "the jeweller of kings and the king of jewellers". For his coronation in 1902, Edward VII ordered 27 tiaras and issued a royal warrant to Cartier in 1904. Similar warrants soon followed from the courts of Spain, Portugal, Serbia, Russia and the French House of Orléans.

The comps on this exquisite piece if marked sterling silver "Sterling" (which is does, see photo) with packaging and in mint condition can sell in the 2000.00+ range, when they come around on the market. It is not everyday that you will see these. This is not the cheaper, silver-plated type or leather. Silver is very expensive these days and people are actually bringing it in to melt pieces down.

I do not accept returns. Item will be shipped with applicable extra insurance and tracking via the UPS Store.

I would love to find this amazing piece a happy owner and home! Thank you
