TREASURE CHEST: Elegant Antique Signed Porcelain Vanity Trinket Dish w/BONUS 17-inch Freshwater Pearl Necklace

TREASURE CHEST: Elegant Antique Signed Porcelain Vanity Trinket Dish w/BONUS 17-inch Freshwater Pearl Necklace
I personally sourced this amazing piece at an Antique Mall, in Scottsdale, AZ
MINT, excellent condition. No chips, cracks, scratches or flea bites.
This elegant antique porcelain vanity dish features a scalloped, trifoil shape decorated with romantic, hand-painted clusters of classic pink roses and delicate green foliage. The glossy white porcelain center contrasts beautifully with the wide, decorative salmon-pink border. This outer rim is further detailed with an intricate, white raised-dot pattern and an embossed lace-like texture that highlights the curves of the piece.
A defining feature of this dish is its beautifully sculpted, structural bow handle. The molded porcelain handle resembles a gracefully tied ribbon finished in a rich, matte gold gilt. It is integrated smoothly directly onto the left side of the upper rim, creating an asymmetrical and eye-catching accent that adds an element of Victorian or Edwardian refinement.
Measuring exactly 7 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches, this versatile piece is scaled perfectly for multiple display and storage uses around the home. It makes a stunning accent as a vintage jewelry or ring dish on a bedroom dresser, a perfume bottle coaster on a bathroom vanity, or a delicate serving platter for sweets during a formal tea service. Its soft palette and elegant craftsmanship bring a timeless, romantic charm to any interior space.
BONUS! You will also receive a beautiful vintage 17 inch hand-knotted freshwater pearl necklace with pink, cream and gray pearls and a gorgeous silver tone locking clasp. NOTE - I did not make the necklace, I just thought it would be a nice addition to the purchase.
INFORMATIONAL “GOOD” NEWS! The plate has a very, very small “1977” painted on the reverse side of the plate. It is not a calendar year. Instead, it is a manufacturing tracking code. Antique porcelain studios used digits on the base to indicate. On the face side, the signature of “Klare” is also shown. (See pic). During the late 19th and early 20th centuries, premium porcelain manufacturers had local studio artists or independent painters would then paint the final designs by hand and sign their names on the front of the dish.
